Erin is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 28 years’ experience, 10 of them while serving as Director of Radford University Student Counseling Services. Erin enjoys working with older adolescents and adults in individual counseling.
Erin believes that counseling is helping people to help themselves. She provides support and useful tools to assist clients in attaining their goals of personal growth and symptom relief. Erin has a special interest in the use of brief therapy utilizing: EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Insight Oriented Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. Erin is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist in EMDR and is a Certified Havening Techniques® Practitioner.
