With curiosity and creativity as her top strengths, Jessica approaches her clients’ concerns and her own challenges with inspired resourcefulness. On her journey toward a career in counseling she encountered many obstacles and detours, but finally landed in the work that best fits her vision of providing a safe space for self-reflection and connection with intuition and unique personal strengths.
Jess has a passion for health – emotional, physical, and transpersonal, and before completing her Master’s Degree in counseling she worked as a personal trainer. Jess is currently a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, and she uses her knowledge of holistic health, along with an individualized approach, to support clients in exploring the connections between lifestyle choices and mental health, while also creating opportunities for deeper dives to resolve emotional concerns.
Jess works with adults and adolescents, age 16 and up, and has a special interest in helping people address challenges with anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, adjustment issues, personal growth, self-care, burnout prevention, resiliency, substance abuse, and lifestyle concerns. She implements a supportive, integrative approach that includes CBT, mindfulness practices, stress management, therapeutic lifestyle changes, and experiential therapies including EMDR and imagery work.
Jess is currently running experiential counseling and health coaching groups for adults in substance abuse treatment.
