Whitney believes that counseling is a partnership between the individual and the counselor. Her goal as a clinician is to create a safe, judgement free environment for clients that fosters reflection, growth, change and the ability to work toward their goals. Whitney takes a humanistic perspective that utilizes a combination of person-centered, DBT and strengths-based approaches.
Whitney is a two-time alumnae of Radford University, with a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and a Master of Science in Counselor Education. She has been a licensed Resident in Counseling since 2023. Whitney has experience working with individuals facing anxiety, depression, and life transitions.
She is currently accepting individuals 13 years and older.
