Tracy Howell has been a student of Science and Metaphysical / Spiritual studies for over 25 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in both Psychology and Metaphysics. Tracy is also currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Psychology and Metaphysical Science.
Tracy is a survivor of an 8 ½ year marriage, where she suffered through physical, mental and sexual abuse. She was diagnosed with Lupus in her early thirties and now has what is called am auto-immune cluster which is a collection of several auto-immune diseases that tend to show up after an initial auto-immune diagnosis.
At the age of 44 Tracy has used all of this to learn how to balance her life with work, family responsibilities and personal care. She has studied many different Spiritual and Metaphysical practices and through getting to know herself and what she wants in her life she has managed to not only continue to work full time, but is in grad-school and enjoys life.
Tracy’s passion is helping others to overcome their own obstacles and empower them to live the life they choose regardless of their circumstances.

Mims is the Founder and Director of Living Mangaliso. An emerging brand that brings together yoga, mindfulness, meditation and spiritual discovery for children and adults. Mangaliso is a Zulu word which means “You are an amazement.” It is with that heart and energy that Mims comes to the yoga mat and all aspects of life.
Having graduated from the Institute of Spiritual Development in 2000, Mims has spent the last couple of decades working as a spiritual director, pastor, conference speaker, retreat leader, writer and teacher.
Mims specialty was working with Empaths and revelatory intuitive based people, through instruction and one on one time spent empowering that population towards growth and health.
Mims is currently continuing her education through the Charlotte Spirituality Center and is in her third year of studies.
Mims is a 200 Hour Certified Yoga teacher through Radiant Child and Family Yoga; with additional certificates in Children’s yoga, ADD, ADHD, Austism spectrum and Learning otherly abled yoga therapy, as well as restorative yoga, and yoga for seniors.
Certifications coming in November 2015 with Street Yoga that will focus on healing from trauma and youth through yoga and mindfulness and in January 2016 with Veterans Yoga project that will focus on the special needs of veterans suffering from PTSD.
Mims is currently working with special needs youth, children with emotional detachment disorder, and learning difficulties as well as with adults with special needs using yoga, breath and mindfulness.
She is available for private yoga sessions as well as yoga therapy and spiritual direction.
Intake sessions are $40 (Pricing for private yoga sessions, yoga therapy, or spiritual direction are discussed during that time together).

Crystal is Reiki II Certified as well as a Certified Angel Card Reader, having received her training in person from Doreen Virtue, PhD and has been practicing energy work professionally since October of 2013. Crystal also has an Associates in Human Services obtained locally at New River Community College as well as over a decade of experience working with people in a variety of settings including Crisis Counseling, Group Leadership and Teaching in both one on one settings as well as in class room settings. Crystal currently provides Reiki and Energy Services and Tarot Card Readings, in addition to hosting numerous classes, talks and groups at Life in Balance.
I consciously began on my path to healing in my early 20’s. Life had always been such an uncertain, emotional roller coaster for me and I was ready to understand the meaning behind my suffering. I had spent many years in traditional counseling and had found it helpful, but I was always left feeling like I needed more than what this method of healing could provide alone and I wasn’t sure what it was.
I began reading and learning more and more about how my thoughts, feelings, beliefs, perceptions and actions effected my life. The more I learned, the more I came to realize I did not know myself very well and this was the true source of my suffering. I had spent my whole like doing what everyone else said I should do, never taking the time to recognize my own feelings. Once I recognized this I began to take control of my life.
It has taken many years and a lot of mistakes to realize that healing and growth are a never ending process in this life. But it is through accepting that we are always growing and changing, which requires us to be active in our decisions, that I have been able to take responsibility for my own well being and embrace life in a way that allows me to help others do the same.
